I was born on January 11th, 1972, in Israel.
I grew up in a small town close to Tel Aviv.
Most of my inspiration comes from my childhood landscapes, and the places I used to go as a child, along with my 2 dogs, Linda and Pudi.
I used to read a lot, mostly fairytales and fiction. The most inspiring book I read was 'Alice in Wonderland'. I used to imagine myself as Alice.
I was always fascinated by the constant changing of colours, from day to night, and from season to season.
I also always liked to look at the different shapes of people faces, and their expressions.
I studied illustration at 'Vital', The Tel Aviv Academy for Design Studies, between 1994-1998, and graduated with First Class Honours BA in Design. I also got a 2 years scholarship from the Israel-American Fund for Excellence in Design.
After my graduation, I participated in several group exhibitions in Israel, and started working as a professional illustrator. I have illustrated for the leading newspapers and magazines in Israel and also published a children's book.
I'm now living in New York City, and working as a freelance
illustrator for prominent newspapers and magazines in the US.
